Description
The Chest Mounting Plate Ø 150 is a specialized transitional component designed to convert MI-Flex flue liners to KC chimney systems. This plate is essential for installations involving a lowered chimney stack, providing a secure and efficient connection between different flue types.
- Transitional Plate: The Chest Mounting Plate facilitates the transition from MI-Flex flue liners to KC chimney systems, ensuring compatibility and a seamless connection.
- Durable Stainless Steel Construction: Made from 304-grade stainless steel with a thickness of 0.4mm, this plate is built to withstand the demanding conditions of flue systems and offers long-lasting performance.
- Fully Welded Design: The fully welded construction enhances the structural integrity of the plate, providing a robust solution for chimney transitions.
- Safety Compliance: Designed to maintain a minimum distance of 60mm from any combustible materials, including wood or plasterboard, to ensure safe operation and adherence to fire safety standards.
- HETAS-Approved and UKCA-Marked: The Chest Mounting Plate meets stringent safety and quality standards, making it a reliable choice for use in residential and commercial chimney installations.
Installation Guidelines:
- Inside Existing Stack: Ensure that the transition from MI-Flex to KC is made within the existing class 1 chimney stack for optimal performance and safety.
- Secure Attachment: The Chest Mounting Plate should be securely fixed onto the top of the lowered chimney stack. KC Twin Wall Insulated Chimney parts are then secured together using a locking band.
- Clearance Requirements: Maintain a distance of 60mm from the outside of the flue to any combustible materials during installation, in accordance with safety regulations.
