Freestanding stoves – why is it worth it?
The freestanding Koza stove that we offer is in fact the simplest and cheapest form of a solid fuel space heater, which in combination with a flue gas system can be used as the cheapest heat source. Fire-clay stoves known for years can find various applications.
They are extremely easy and quick to install, easy to transport, and with proper use (not overloading the stove “red burning”) they can be used for many heating seasons.
Fire-clay stoves open up a whole series of heating devices as the cheapest and simplest form of solid fuel heaters.
1. The exhaust outlet is equipped with an adjustable damper, i.e. a throttle. It is used to adjust the draft force, which changes the efficiency of the fireplace. With the damper open, the chimney draft is the largest, causing the fuel to burn quickly and increasing the power of the fireplace, with the damper closed, the chimney draft and combustion speed are reduced. We offer all accessories for exhaust gas.
2. Upper and lower strong doors – thanks to the large loading door (almost the entire width of the fireplace), we have access to practically the entire hearth, so we can insert large logs of wood. The door is made of one piece of embossed sheet metal. Top door – charging / bottom door – furnace.
3. Internal door reinforcements – each loading door has been additionally reinforced with an embossed sheet, which strengthens the structure and stiffness of the door, as well as protects against direct fire on the door sheet (this prevents the door from overheating).
4. Strong and massive hinges – our fireplace is equipped with strong and durable hinges that are perfect for everyday use. The hinges allow, for example, the removal of the door during periodic cleaning or maintenance of the fireplace.
5. The anti-burn ebonite handle with a closure is a proven and good solution ensuring quick, safe and comfortable use of the furnace. The material used (ebonite) is very durable and resistant to high temperatures.
6. Regulation of the combustion rate – the upper charging door is equipped with a movable, adjustable secondary air damper equipped with three holes with a diameter of 15mm. By regulating the air supply placed on the door, we can regulate the burning rate. Closing or opening the holes translates into a reduction or increase in the burning rate and thus the power of the stove.
7. A removable steel disc, i.e. a 180mm diameter cooker – the stove has a very convenient solution in the form of a removable disc – the so-called “Fireworks”. This is a very useful solution. Thanks to it, you can add really large logs of wood to the stove. The firebox also allows easy access to the furnace from the top – easy to clean or replace fireclay bricks – when the need arises. Sometimes a cooker can be useful as a heating surface. Our cooker is made of an upper and lower steel layer – which perfectly protects it against bending under the influence of temperature.
8. Fireclay hearth – the hearth is the heart of the furnace, so it is important that the materials used in it are of the best quality. We use chamotte bricks for filling, which, due to their high resistance, durability, and excellent heat accumulation properties, are perfect for a hearth. Fire clay is the most frequently chosen material for the construction or lining of fireplaces due to its properties.
9. Removable ash pan – located below the combustion chamber, it ensures very quick, easy, and trouble-free operation of the stove.
10. Pressed body with reinforcements – in order to ensure the appropriate level of safety, we use the main body of the furnace, which is fired from a single piece of metal and then bent. Thanks to the use of precise production devices, it is possible to perfectly fit the steel elements of the furnace. The production process uses laser cutting and bending technologies with CNC devices. The body also has appropriate reinforcements placed on the sidewalls, which increase the stiffness of the furnace.
11. Large combustion chamber – allows you to load a large amount of solid fuel for many hours. You save time because you don’t have to add to the furnace every now and then. This solution is convenient and saves time.

When using the stove, remember about safety, because careless use may lead to a fire hazard.
