The Wall Sleeve Ø 150 is designed to safeguard your chimney system as it passes through exterior walls. This protective sleeve ensures that your flue system is securely and safely integrated into the wall, providing both durability and compliance with safety standards.
- Purpose: Protects the chimney from damage during installation and use as it passes through exterior walls. Fills the gap between the flue and the wall with Rockwool for added insulation and safety.
- Design Considerations:
- Angle Adaptation: For installations at a 45° angle, the sleeve may require taper cutting to fit flush within the wall. This can be done with a grinder or hacksaw.
- Durable Construction:
- Outer Skin: Made from 304-grade stainless steel, 0.4mm thick, providing strength and corrosion resistance.
- Inner Skin: Constructed from 316-grade stainless steel, 0.4mm thick, offering additional durability and protection against high temperatures.
- Insulation: Features compressed rock wool with a density of 200kg/m³ (TWPro) or 128kg/m³ (KC), ensuring effective thermal insulation.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Clearance: Maintains a safety distance to combustibles of 50mm (TWPro) or 60mm (KC).
- Approval and Standards:
- TWPro: HETAS Approved, CE Marked, compliant with EN1856-1 T600 N1 W V2 L50040 G50 and T200 W V2 L50040 O20.
