The Offset locking band is used in conjunction with 15/30/45 degree bends
Description
It replaces the standard locking bands to strengthen the joints where long offsets are required to increase stability. This installation method allows a maximum of 250mm length (012) to be used be between the bends with no additional support required after the offset, if a longer offset is required provision for another wall band or support is needed after the offset.
The offset locking band also allows the offset flue to be fitted free standing up to a maximum distance of 1.5m from the last support (the wall band must have a strong fixings)
APPLICATION
For use on solid fuel and gas/oil appliances. eg: woodstoves, gas coal effect fires, oil boiler, gas boiler and any solid fuel appliances.
CONSTRUCTION
Outer skin is made from 304 stainless Steel and is 0.4mm thick. The Inner skin is made from 316 grade stainless steel and is 0.4mm thick. Insulation is compressed rockwool giving a density of 200kg/m3. All parts are fully welded.
Distance to combustibles is 50mm.
