Overview
MF20 MI-FLEX Accessories is a premium range of installation fittings perfectly designed for use with MI-FLEX 316 and 904 flexible flue liners. When combined, these components form a comprehensive and efficient chimney system, meeting the highest safety and performance standards.
General Application
These accessories are intended for use with MI-FLEX multi-fuel flexible flue liners. According to Building Regulations Document J, flexible flue liners must be completely enclosed within a masonry chimney. Non-masonry enclosures such as timber or plasterboard are not acceptable. All items are suitable for use with appliances operating up to 600°C (T600 designation), making them ideal for wood (less than 20% moisture), smokeless coal, gas, and oil.
Bottom Fixings
Bottom fixings facilitate the transition from the connecting flue system to the flexible flue liner. The connection to the flex should be made within the existing masonry chimney, ensuring no flex is exposed. Secure the bottom fixing to the connecting flue below and the flexible flue liner above using fire cement, ceramic rope tape, or high-temperature sealant to ensure a gas-tight seal.

This Standard Fit Pot Hanging Cowl complies with the new BSEN standard. It features an integrated rain cap and bird guard, allowing the chimney liner to be installed without removing the pot. It also prevents bird entry and enhances rain protection. The cowl supports the weight of the liner at the chimney pot and is secured to the flex using the standard jubilee fixing method (see installation instructions).
